Suicide of birds in Jatinga

Every year, around September and October, numerous birds dive to their death in a village called Jatinga in North India. Till today, no one knows the reason behind this weird act of these harmless birds. To add to this mystery, these birds perform this mysterious act only in the evening between 7pm and 10 pm.

Catacombs of Paris

The Catacombs (burial chambers) of Paris was constructed around 17^th and 18^th centuries in order to avoid the decaying dead body parts get into the water supply. Although, it was constructed with the purpose of preventing the water from getting contaminated, the chambers look creepy.

 Aokigahara Forest

This forest is known as the ‘suicide spot’ of Japan. It is located at the base of Mt Fuji and since 1950s, many Japanese have been committing suicide here. Once can find sayings engraved on the woods such as ‘ Life is precious’, “ Think of your family” etc.
